From the Times of 15 April 2025: HOLROYD PEARCE The Hon Mrs Richard Bruce (née Jennifer Christine Westwood) died peacefully on 9th April 2025, aged 81, at Sobell House, Oxford.

She was d of Rev Jack Wallace Galer WESTWOOD 1909-86 by his 2 Sep 1939 m to Elizabeth Mary FLAHERTY 1911-74. She m 1987 as his 2^nd w (His Honour Judge) Hon (Richard) Bruce Holroyd PEARCE 1930-87 s of law lord LP Baron PEARCE 1901-90 and Erica Doris 1906-85 d of Bertram PRIESTMAN RA 1868-1951 (the artist) and Grace HENWOOD 1868-1953.

The late Judge Pearce's nephew (son of his bro Hon James PEARCE 1934-85), Robert (Bertie) Holroyd b c1974 reg Q1 Uckfield, m 2006 Philippa Vere b 1975 d of Richard Bruce ANNESLEY b 1937 (7xgt gs of 1st Viscount VALENTIA 1584-1660), and has issue.
