Hi Patricia.

Thanks for posting this information.

Do we have an actual  date of marriage for the couple?

If they only announced their engagement in May it's probably unlikely they would be married already?  In any event if Raife is their child he won't be in remainder

Good point, colinp.

In general, it's frustrating to read the engagement announcements, find out later  that there are children that have been born, but yet, having no idea when or if the couple married.

We certainly can't make that assumption in 2024 that they married,  as we did even 30 years ago.

Norman and Martin are both common surnames, and it seems unlikely that a father whose christian name is Antony would give his son the same name with a different (Anthony) spelling. I think this may therefore be a case of mistaken identity.

Well someone with more knowledge of me on accessing records could prove right or wrong. Although they could have had a child before engagement, but i take your point, i went on the name Anthony only

It seems their wedding will be on 7 June 2025 -  Welcome! - Alice Martin

Searching "Antony Norman" brings up a result for Alice Martin so I assume this is the right Alice Martin.
