Lady Clare Therese Kerr (b 1979), eldest surv daughter of the 13th
Marquis of Lothian, QC, PC, MP (aka Michael Ancram, MP), by his wife
the former Lady (Theresa) Jane Fitzalan-Howard, dau of the 16th Duke
of Norfolk, KG, GCVO, GBE.

Lady Clare is one day destined to inherit the Scottish lordship of
Herries of Terregles currently held by her aunt, Lady Anne Fitzalan-
Howard.

Mr Hurd, Conservative MP for Ruislip, has 2 sons and 2 daughters from
