I realize that for people like marquess, this thread will have no
interest, since the living persons mentioned here are not in remainder
to any title that I know of, unless very distantly.
But, for those who love English literature, or those interested in
English social history of the 1920s-1930s, or those who love English
country houses, these articles might be of interest

"Madresfield a very private house" by Nicholas Shakespeare, reviewing
Mulvagh's book
The house went from the 7th Earl to his eldest and elder surviving son
the 8th Earl (who died childless 1979) to the latter's niece Rosalind
Morrison (the Hon Lady Morrison) who married firstly Gerald Ward, of
the earls of Dudley (one of Prince Harry's godfathers) and secondly
1984 Hon Sara Long's ex-husband Hon Sir Charles Morrison, divorced
from both husbands. Two children by first husband - the younger
daughter (Margaret) Lucy Ward b. 1970 is stated to be Madresfield's
heir. Wonder why the elder -- married to a Scrope -- was left out -
not interested?
