He was s of Lt-Col Robert John Halkett BADDELEY MC 1877-1955 scion of that gentry family of Castle Hale and as her 1st h (her 2nd was Col Wilmot E Heriot-Maitland-Dougall 3xgt gs of 6th Earl of Lauderdale) Hilda 1897-1994 d of Gilbert Charles WARDLE 1862-1943 of Leeks, Staffs by his 1st w to Mary Blanche CHALLINOR 1865-1901. He m Barbara and had a son and a dau as above.

The death notice mentions grandchildren. I wonder if 'Alfie' is the Alfie David COGHILL which GRO shows as b Q1 2020 in Northamptonshire? A son to the baronet & his lady?
