Diarmaid Douglas-Hamilton, physicist and inventor, died in Beverly, Massachusetts, USA, Jan. 19, 2023. Born June 17, 1940, he was the son of Lord David Douglas-Hamilton (1912-44) and Ann Prunella (Stack) Douglas-Hamilton Albers Power, and a grandson of the 13th Duke of Hamilton & Brandon. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Murray (Spencer) Plum Douglas-Hamilton, two stepchildren. brother Iain of Kenya and two nieces. He was co-founder, senior vice president and chief technology officer of a company called Hamilton Thorne Inc.
