From the Times of 24 Nov 2022: WILLIAMS Owain Anthony Mervyn, DL, died surrounded by his family on 11th November 2022, aged 67. Adored and adoring husband of 40 years to Bethan, and devoted and cherished father to Elizabeth, Antonia, Harry, Arabella and Archie. Private family funeral. Memorial Mass will be held in Wales in the spring.
He was s of George Mervyn WILLIAMS CBE TD TD 1918-2013 of Tretower House, Mid Glam. and his 2nd w Grizel Margaretta Cochrane DStJ 1914-2009 d of Maj Walter Peter STEWART and Jessie Edith COCHRANE 1891-1978 (2xgt gd of 9th Earl of DUNDONALD 1748-1831). He m 1983 Bethan M. O'Donovan b 1962 reg Q3 Glam. d of (Watcyn) Richard WATKINS 1930-2018 by his 1960 m reg Q2 Glam. to Eileen G O'DONOVAN, and had two sons and three daus as above.
