From the Telegraph of 17 Jan 2025: Mr E.O.S. Pell and Miss A.C.M. Gore - The engagement is announced between Edward, younger son of Mr and Mrs Gerald Pell, of North Huish, Devon, and Alice, daughter of Mr and Mrs William Gore, of  Pencarrow, Camelford, Cornwall.

Alice Catherine Mary b 1988 s of William Ralph St John GORE b 1956 (5xgt gs of Sir Ralph GORE 4^th Bt 1675-1733 who was f of 1^st & only Earl of ROSS 1725-1802) and Mary Susan d of Edmund Arthur COLLINGRIDGE of Sydney, NSW.

The parents of the prospective bridegroom, Edward Oliver S PELL (born 1978), are Gerald Keith Sinclair PELL (born 6 II 1946) and his wife (married 1971), Heather Ann RAYNER (born 11 XI 1941), who is herself the elder daughter of Maj David William RAYNER (1910 - 1996) and his wife (married 20 VII 1940) Barbara June CHAWORTH-MUSTERS (12 XI 1919 - 1 XI 2006), of that landed gentry family.
