From the Times of 20 June 2023: PONTE Jennifer Jane (née Curzon) died peacefully on 15th June 2023, aged 82. Beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend. Loving grandmother to Kitty, Sophia, Lydia, Leo, Gracie, Ellie, Noah, Elijah, Artie [Arthur], Bix, Emil, Clementine, Jack and Augie. She lived and laughed and loved and left.

She was d of the 6^th Earl HOWE 1908-84 and his 1s w Priscilla Crystall Frances 1914-97 d of Lt-Col Sir William Ernest George Archibald WEIGALL 1^st & only Bt 1874-1952 and Grace Emily Blundell 1876-1950 d of Sir John Blundell MAPLE 1^st Bt 1845-1903 and Emily Harriet MERRYWEATHER [1846-1930]. She m 1962 Alan Joseph PONTE, and had 4 sons and a dau.
