He was s of Bryan Dowson RAWLIN 1901-77 by his 1932 m reg Q4 Derbys to Joan EYRE 1911-72. He m 1959 reg Q4 Derbys Gillian G  b 1936 reg Q3 Derbys d of Ernest Bradbury ROBINSON 1905-83 by his 29 April 1930 m (Holywell Cross Church, Chesterfield, Derbys) to Kathleen Mary GRAY 1903-89, and had two sons and a dau as above.

His elder son Andrew Robinson RAWLIN b 1960 reg Q3 S Yorks married 1988 Miranda b 1963 d of Hon Thomas Ian BRASSEY 1934-2022 (s of Lt-Col 2 Baron BRASSEY OF APETHORPE MC TD 1905-67 (gs of 7th Duke of RICHMOND & GORDON 1845-1928 etc) and his 1st w Crystal Gloria 1906-62 d of Lt-Col Francis William George GORE TD 1855-1938 and Lady Constance Grace MILLES 1864-1941 d of 1st Earl of SONDES 1824-94) and Valerie Christine b c1937 reg Q1 London d of Alan David FINLASON 1904-80 by his 1934 m reg Q3 London (div before Q2 1952) to (as her 1st h) Norah Christine TUTIN 1908-64 (Mrs Frederick Powell), and had a son (William) and a dau (Alexandra) as above.
