From the Times of 24 Feb 2026: PERRY Annette Josephine (née Anderson) died peacefully on 28th January 2026 after long ill health in Oxford. Editor and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral 28th February, 3pm, Lady Margaret Hall. Donations welcome in her name to RNLI.

She was d of Alan Bruce ANDERSON 1902-85 by his 12 Sep 1927 m (St Mary the Great, Cambridge) to Margaret 1900-97 d of Sir William Cecil Dampier DAMPIER (formerly Whetham) 1867-(Dec)1952 sometime head of that gentry family of Hilfield St Nicholas and Catherine Durning c1869-(March)1952 d of Robert Durning HOLT and Lawrencina POTTER. She m 1958 Cecil William b 1931 s of Edward William PERRY CSI CIE 1891-1971 by his 19 Feb 1930 m (Ewhurst, Sussex) to Mary Thrift 1906-95 d of George John Thrift REAVELL 1866-1933 (architect) by his 1905 m reg Q2 Berwick to Sarah 1877-1943 d of William REDPATH 1849-1915 and his 1 w Sarah DORMER 1847-84, and had a son and two daus.
