Mr H. Ropner and Miss N. Sinclair
The engagement is announced between Henry, son of Sir John Ropner, Bt,
of Bedale, North Yorkshire, and Auriol, Marchioness of Linlithgow, of
Llanfyllin, Powys, and Natasha, daughter of Mr and Mrs Rod Sinclair,
of Montjoi, France.

Henry John William (b 1981) is the only son and heir of Sir John Bruce
Woollacott ROPNER 2nd Bt (b 1937) and his 2nd wife Auriol Veronica (b
1943, now Auriol, Marchioness of Linlithgow, having divorced the
present Marquess in 2004, and dau of Capt Graham Lawrie Mackeson later
MACKESON-SANDBACH (1907-84, scion of the MACKESON Bts) and Geraldine
Pamela Violet (1909-2001, dau & sole heir of Maj-Gen Arthur Edmund
SANDBACH CB DSO JP of that gentry family of Hafodunos, Denbighshire
and the Hon Ina DOUGLAS-PENNANT OBE (1868-1942) dau of 2nd Baron
PENRHYN (1836-1907) and his 1st wife, a scion of the RUSHOUT Bts and
Dukes of LEINSTER)).
