Mr C.R. Roome and Miss L.K.A. Peat
The engagement is announced between Charles Ruairidh, youngest son of
the late Mr Christopher Roome and of Mrs Donald Hardie, of Boturich,
and Laura Katharine Alice, only daughter of the late Mr Richard Peat
and of the Hon Brigid Douglas Pennant, of Suffolk.

Laura Katharine Alice (b 1976) is the dau of Richard Henry PEAT and
the Hon Brigid Elizabeth DOUGLAS-PENNANT (b 1943) dau of The Hon Nigel
Douglas-Pennant (son of the 5th Baron PENRHYN and his 2nd w Alice
Nellie (d 1965 dau of Sir William Charles COOPER 3rd Bt, of Woollahra)
and his 2nd wife Eleanor Stewart (d 1987, dau of Very Rev Herbert
Newcome CRAIG Dean Kildare).

Charles Ruairidh (b c1981 reg Q1 Hammersmith) is the son of
Christopher Wallace ROOME (d 1987) and Assina Catherine J McQUEEN (b
1944).
