From the Telegraph of 12 Oct 2023: LEIGH The death has occurred of Priscilla Leigh (née Cooper) of Ranaghan More, Ballinacarrow, Sligo, Ireland. Formerly Markree Castle, Collooney, Co Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Loving wife of William. Dearly loved mother of James, Edward, Francis and the late Richard. Sadly missed by her loving family; brothers Edward, Charles, and Ricco, sister Deirdre, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. She was d of Lt-Cdr Edward Francis Patrick COOPER 1912-85 sometime head of that Irish gentry family co Sligo and Elizabeth Mary 1914- d of Ven Charles Philip Stuart CLARKE 1871-1947 and Madeline Harriet 1879-1953 d of Charles Townshend BROOKE 1844-99 sometime head of that gentry family of Haughton Hall and Lady Wilhelmina LEGGE 1849-1928 d of 4^th Earl of DARTMOUTH 1784-1853 by his w a dau of 5^th Viscount BARRINGTON 1761-1829. She m 1965 Hon William Rupert LEIGH b 1938 s of 4^th Baron LEIGH 1908-79 and Anne 1908-77 d of Ellis HICKS-BEACH 1874-1943 (gs of Sir Michael HICKS BEACH 8^th Bt 1809-54 who was f of 1^st Earl ST ALDWYN 1837-1916) and Nancy WHITEHEAD 1877-1942, and had four sons as above.

Unfortunately, her father, Edward Francis Patrick Cooper, does not appear in the 1912 LG :)

If he, as seems likely, was son of Bryan Ricco Cooper, of Markree Castle, then his mother was Marion Dorothy Handcock, a descendant of the 2nd Lord Castlemaine.

He is the son of Bryan & Marion Cooper. Attached is his entry from the the 1976 edn of Burke's Irish Family Records (often referred to as the 5th edn of Burke's Landed Gentry of Ireland), where he's shown as head of the family. I've highlighted his dau Priscilla.
