From the Telegraph and Times of 15 August 2019: MANSFIELD Sophia Sally (née Ropner) died peacefully on 14th August 2019, aged 59. Much loved mother, wife, sister and daughter. A service of thanksgiving will be held at 13.00 on Thursday 29th August at St Michael's Church, Broadway... (no black dress please).

She was d of Jeremy Vyvyan ROPNER (1932-2009), scion of the Bts of that name cr 1904, and his wife & 1st cousin (Sophia) Sally dau of Maj George Talbot WILLCOX MC (*) of Cobham, Surrey. She m 1991 Christopher John s of Kenneth MANSFIELD of Quarry House, Malton, Yorkshire, and had a son (William Vyvyan Haldane b 1994) and a dau (Isabella Mary b 1994, twin).

(*) Maj Willcox married Jeremy Ropner's aunt, Constance Winsome ROPNER (1899-?)
