From the Telegraph of 1 Jan 2025: CLOWES Andrew Henry died on 19th December 2024, aged 82. Husband of the late Georgiana, father to Dickon and Emma and grandfather of Juno and Algy.

He was briefly 1966-67 Equerry to the 1^st Duke of GLOUCESTER. He was s of Col Sir Henry Nelson CLOWES KCVO 1911-93 scion of that gentry family of Norbury and Diana Katherine 1926-2011 d of Maj Basil KERR 1879-1957 (gt gs of 6^th Marquess of LOTHIAN 1763-1824, and his 2nd w Lady Harriet SCOTT d 1833, d of 3rd/5th Duke of BUCCLEUCH & QUEENSBURY 1746-1812) and Winifred Katherine d 1974 dau of George BLEZARD c1866-1928 and Hon Katherine CHETWYND 1865-1949 dau of the 7th Viscount CHETWYND 1823-1911. He m 1968 Georgiana Elizabeth 1939-2019 d of Richard Edward Osborne CAVENDISH 1917-72 (gt gs of 7th Duke of DEVONSHIRE 1808-91 and scion of numerous other noble families) and Pamela June 1918-2006 d of Hugh Lloyd THOMAS CMG CVO 1888-1938 and scion of the HOBHOUSE Bts, and Hon Guendaline Ada BELLEW 1891-1976 gd of 2nd Baron BELLEW 1830-95 and scion of the GILBEY Bts (descended from brother of 1st Bt), and had a son and a dau:
