From the Telegraph of 31 Oct 2023: FOULKES Richard Ralston of Hambleton, Rutland, died peacefully on 21st October 2023 surrounded by his wife and sons. Devoted husband, brother, father and grandfather. Successful investment manager who rose to Vice Chairman at Schroder Investment Management and won the Queen's Award for Export. Generous of spirit to all around him, he will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. Private funeral. Donations to Rutland Historic Churches Preservation Trust or British Heart Foundation.

He was s of Surg-Lt John Frederick FOULKES c1911-2000 by his 1940 m reg Q4 Cheshire to Mary M C MCCALLUM 1919-. He m 1973 Rosemary Alice b 1947 d of Capt Stephen Richard Chudleigh DORMAN 1921-98 scion of that Irish gentry family and Mary Isobel 1924-78 d of William Henry WOLSEY of Carlton House, Portadown, and had two sons:
