Dearly loved husband of the late Pop, much loved father of Philippa and Suzanna, Grandpa to Arthur, Kit, Bertie, Max and Cece and brother to Tom. He was s of Ft-Lt Jeremy Charles WILSON DFC 1923-2010 (gs of 1st Baron NUNBURNHOLME 1833-1907 and Florence Jane Helen 1853-1932 d of Col William Henry Charles WELLESLEY 1813-88 nephew of the 1st Duke of WELLINGTON and gs of the 1st Earl of MORNINGTON 1735-81 and (maternally) gs of the 1st Earl CADOGAN 1728-1807 etc) and  June Patricia 1923-2011 d of Thomas Townsend BUCKNILL and _ EDELSTEN . He m 1972 Penelope Ann Verney 1946-2012 d of Lt-Col Robert Edward GABBETT MBE MC 1911- head of that Irish gentry family of Ballaghtobin, Kilkenny, and Ann Henrietta Westwood 1914- d of Brig-Gen Verney ASSER CB CMG DSO 1873-1944 of Lodsworth, Petworth, Sussex and Hyacinth Florence Marion Taylor 1886-1946 d of Henry IRWIN CIE 1841-1922 and Henrietta Helen IRWIN, and had twin daus as above.
