From the Telegraph of 8 Dec 2020: BELHAVEN AND STENTON Lord (Robin Hamilton), died peacefully aged 93 at home in London, on Wednesday 2nd December 2020. Member of the Polish Order of Merit. Beloved husband of Malgosia, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Private funeral. A memorial service will be held once Covid restrictions have ceased.

He was s of 12th Lord of BELHAVEN & STENTON (1903-61) and his 1st w Heather Mildred Carmichael BELL (d 1992). He m 1st 1952 (div 1973) Elizabeth Ann (1938-2011) d of Col Arthur Henry MOSELEY DSO of Warrawee, NSW, Australia, and had a son and a dau. He m 2nd 1973 (div 1986) as her 2nd h Rosemary (1927-92) d of Sir Herbert Geraint WILLIAMS 1st Bt (1884-1954) and Dorothy Frances JONES (c1889-1957). He m 3rd 1986 Malgosia Maria d of Tadeusz Pobog HRUZIK-MAZURKIEWICZ of Poland, and had a 2nd dau. His son succeeds him.

[Rt Hon] FREDERICK CARMICHAEL ARTHUR Hamilton (b 27 Sept 1953) [14th Lord] has yet to establish claim and appear on The Peerage Roll. He m 1st 1981 (div 1989) (Elizabeth) Anne (b 1952 reg Q2 Sussex) d of Stephen Victor TREDINNICK (1916-95) of Naldretts Court, Wisborough Green, Sussex by his c1949 m (reg Q1 Sussex) to Evelyn Mabel WATES (1920-2012), and had two sons. He m 2nd 1991 (div 2012) Philippa Martha Gausel (b 1955) d of Sir Rowland John Rathbone WHITEHEAD 5th Bt (1930-2007) and Marie-Louise GAUSEL of Norway, and had a dau.

Lordship of Belhaven and Stenton in the Peerage of Scotland The Lord Chancellor reported that Frederick Carmichael Arthur Hamilton had established his claim to the Lordship of Belhaven and Stenton in the Peerage of Scotland. The Clerk of the Parliaments was accordingly directed to enter Lord Belhaven and Stenton on the register of hereditary peers maintained under Standing Order 9(4).
