Daughter for the Duff Gordon baronetcy heir

_. Zoë F Duff Gordon (nee Cordy-Simpson) wife of William Andrew Lewis Duff Gordon (b 1977), scion of the Duff Gordon Baronets, gave birth to a daughter, Rose Virginie Finovola, 13 September 2012.  William Duff Gordon is the elder son of Sir Andrew Cosmo Lewis Duff Gordon, 8th Baronet (b 17 Oct 1933) of New Radnor, Powys, by his 2nd wife the former Eveline Virginia Soames, and Zoë is the only daughter of Lieutenant General Sir Roderick Alexander Cordy-Simpson, KBE (b 29 Feb 1944), of Bishopstrow, Wiltshire, sometime Lieutenant , HM Tower of London, by his wife the former Virginia Rosemary Lewis.

Zoë Finovola (b 1976) is the d of Lt-Gen Sir Roderick Alexander CORDY-SIMPSON KBE CB (b 1944 - see below*) and Virginia Rosemary (b 1949) d of Lt-Col Peter Jarret LEWIS (1912-83) and Rosemary Anne (1920-?) scion of the COOPER of Gadebridge Bts and the OAKS gentry family of Nowton Court, Suffolk and the REDE gentry family of Letheringham Abbey, Suffolk.

*Sir Roderick is the s of Col John Roger CORDY-SIMPSON CBE MC (1910-79) and Ursula Margaret WEST. Whch John Roger is s of Capt Roger CORDY-SIMPSON (c1884-1919) and Finovola (Vola) Marianne Eleanor (1887-1935, who m 2nd a scion of the earls of ROMNEY) d of Lt-Col Sir Fitzroy Donald MacLEAN 10 Bt KCB (1835-1936) and Constance Marianne (1853 (bap Oct, Paddington)-1920) d of George Holland ACKERS (c1813-72) of that gentry family of Moreton Hall, Cheshire.
