"Bedingfeld Lady Sheila Passed away peacefully at Glastonbury Court Care Home, on June 18th 2017, aged 93 years.
Loved and missed by all her
children, grandchildren and
great grandchildren.
Funeral Service is to be held at
West Suffolk Crematorium, on
Friday July 7th 2017, at 10:30am.

Mrs Sheila Riddell, née Douglas, married 1992, as his fourth wife, Sir Edmund Bedingfeld, 9th Bt.

Her maiden name was Sheila Finlayson DOUGLAS, and her birth was registered in Dalry and Gorgie in 1924 (Ref 685 / 8 / 224). Her first marriage, to (as his first wife) Roland William RIDDELL (9 XI 1913 - 21 XI 1984; later in life, he chose to modify his first name to Ronald), by whom she had two sons, was registered in St Andrew (Edinburgh) in 1943 (Ref 685 / 2 /247).
