From the Telegraph of 6 Dec 2023: MAINWARING John Salusbury Kynaston died peacefully on 23rd November 2023, aged 85. Beloved husband of Anne, much loved father of William, Laura and Annabel, and devoted grandfather, cherished by his eight grandchildren.

He was s of Brig Hugh Salusbury Kynaston MAINWARING CB CBE DSO TD 1906-1976 scion of that gentry family of Oteley and Diana 1913-67 d of Maj William Marshall DUGDALE CB DSO TD 1881-1952 scion of that gentry family of Wroxall Abbey and Ruth Edith d of Rt Hon Sir John Eldon BANKES GCB 1854-1946 sometime head of that gentry family of Soughton Hall and Edith d 1931 d of Robert Peel ETHELSTON 1831-1906 sometime head of that gentry family f/o Hinton Salop and his 1^st w Louisa Philippa 1829-1892 d of Thomas PERRY of Moor Hall, Essex. He m 1968 Anne d of Capt Anthony BUCKNILL, and had a son and two daus
