Martin John Faber MORRISON (23 XII 1923 - 10 II 2004) was married, firstly, to Catherine Robina June BANKS (30 V 1928 - 5 X 2005), whose second husband was Dr Desmond Foch Blanchfield KEOGH (1 XI 1918 - 8 I 1994; it appears from probate records that he was also known by the names of Desmond Blanchfield KEOGH and Desmond Foch Blanchville KEOGH).

Mr Morrison was the son of Captain Martin James MORRISON, MC (20 VIII 1893 - 9 III 1972) and his wife (married 28 IX 1921), Aileen Coppard FABER (c.1897 - 30 I 1972), a member of that landed gentry family of Ampfield House, Hampshire. Mrs Morrison's father, Thomas Henry FABER (1860 - 20 VI 1922), was a second cousin of the publisher, Sir Geoffrey Cust FABER (23 VIII 1889 - 31 III 1961); her mother, Ada Cotton GILES (1862 - 27 IX 1934), was a daughter of Alfred GILES (3 X 1816 - 3 III 1895), MP (Conservative) for Southampton, 1878-80 and 1883-92, and his wife (married 27 X 1838), Jane Emily COPPARD (c.1822 - 28 VIII 1895).

Captain Martin James MORRISON was the second son of Martin MORRISON (5 IX 1852 - 1 II 1900) and his wife (married 19 IV 1885), Laura Eugenie SUTTON (1859 - 13 XI 1942), whose 4 x greats-grandfather, Miles STAPYLTON, was the younger brother of Sir Henry STAPYLTON, 1st Bt, of Myton (c.1617 - 1679). Captain Morrison's sister, Reva Sarah Mary MORRISON (18 VI 1890 - 9 X 1971) was married, secondly, on 28 February 1927 to (as his second wife) Sir William Morton Buller FEILDEN, 5th Bt (20 V 1893 - 22 VI 1976).
