The prospective bridegroom would appear to be (Edward) Thomas Stafford ALLEN (born II 1989), the son of Patrick John Stafford ALLEN, BEM (born II 1954) and his wife (married 1984), Edwina Carolyn Rose DEAKIN (born 1956).

Patrick Allen is the youngest son of Graham Archibald Stafford ALLEN (21 VII 1922 - 28 VI 1981) and his wife (married 1948), Blanche Marion RIPPINGALL (1923 - ?), daughter of Neale Florance Reginald RIPPINGALL (7 XI 1883 - 23 X 1954) and his wife (married 31 III 1921), Dorothy Elliot Robina FEILDEN (5 V 1899 - 17 III 1947), of that landed gentry family, of Witton Park, near Blackburn, Lancashire.

Mrs Edwina Allen, née Deakin, is the daughter of Edward DEAKIN (died 9 II 1969) and his wife (marriage registered Q1 1952 - Westminster), Angela Durell SPARROW (born 2 X 1928), who was married secondly, on 7 July 1965, to Granville John Florance Thomas RIPPINGALL  (c.1926 - 23 XII 2009), the brother of Blanche Marion RIPPINGALL. Miss Deakin, as she then was, thereby became the stepdaughter of her future husband's uncle. Another point of interest is that the Rippingall siblings were great-great-grandchildren of Charles Allen YOUNG (1787 -1855), the founder in 1831 of Young and Co's Brewery of Wandsworth, Surrey.

As a postscript, I have just spotted that the prospective bride and groom are sixth cousins once removed, through a common descent from the 5th Duke of Beaufort: she being a 5 x greats-granddaughter, and he being a 6 x greats-grandson, of the Duke.
