From the Telegraph of 7 March 2022: PROCTOR BEAUCHAMP Anne (née Hewitt), peacefully on 3rd March 2022 aged 78 years, surrounded by her family. Much loved and sadly missed by her husband Tony, her children Guy, Julian and Claire, and her ten grandchildren. Donations in lieu of flowers to Arthur Rank Hospice, Cambridge.

She was d of Rev Thomas HEWITT. She m 1965 Rev Arthur Hazlerigg b 1940 s of Sir Ivor Cuthbert PROCTOR BEAUCHAMP 8th Bt 1900-71 and Caroline Muriel 1901-87 d of Frank DENSHAM 1876-1950 and Lilian Elizabeth HAZLERIGG 1877-1948 (gd of Sir Arthur Grey HAZLERIGG 11th Bt d 1819)), and had two sons and a dau.

It would appear that the late Mrs Proctor Beauchamp was the Anne E HEWITT, mother's maiden name THORNE, whose birth was registered in Nottingham in Q1 1944. Certainly,  the Rev Thomas HEWITT (c.1909/10 -  8 IX 1965) was married to Daffodil Ann THORNE (1921 - 16 XII 2007) in 1943 (registered Q2 - Worthing); they were also the parents of Gavin James HEWITT (born 1951), BBC News's News Editor.
