Fidelity Cranbrook lived through almost a century of social change in
which she made her own distinctive mark. She was born into a prominent
Quaker family of scholars and bankers, and at 20 she married into the
different milieu of Jock, 4th Earl of Cranbrook, and his Gathorne-
Hardy relatives.

On her late husband's ex-wife (his first cousin)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridget_D'Oyly_Carte
Dame Bridget Cicely D'Oyly Carte DBE (25 March 1908 – 2 May 1985), was
the granddaughter of impresario Richard D'Oyly Carte and the only
daughter of Rupert D'Oyly Carte. She became head of the D'Oyly Carte
Opera Company from 1948 until 1982.
..
Bridget D'Oyly Carte was born at Suffolk Street, Pall Mall, London,
and educated in England and abroad. Her father was Rupert D'Oyly
Carte, and her mother was the former Lady Dorothy Milner Gathorne-
Hardy (1889–1977).
In 1926, when she was only 18, she married her first cousin, John
David Gathorne-Hardy, the fourth Earl of Cranbrook (1900-1978),[1] an
explorer and naturalist. They soon separated and finally divorced in
1931, and she resumed her maiden name by deed poll in 1932.[2]

She died 1985 leaving no issue, and never having remarried.

On her parent's marriage [from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rupert_D'Oyly_Carte]
In 1907, Rupert [(1876-1948)] married Lady Dorothy Milner Gathorne-
Hardy (1889–1977) (the third and youngest daughter of John Stewart
Gathorne-Hardy, 2nd Earl of Cranbrook (1839-1911)), with whom he had a
son, Michael, and a daughter, Bridget (1908-1985). Michael was killed
in a motor accident in Switzerland in 1932. Rupert and his wife built
a country house, Coleton Fishacre, Devon, in 1925.

[Her parents divorced in 1941 when her father divorced her mother].
