From the Telegraph of 3 January 2015: SCRIMGEOUR Sheila Felicity (née Hastings) peacefully passed away January 1st 2015. Funeral at St Mary's, Lytchett Matravers, at 2 p.m. Monday 12th January.
She was d of Capt Edward George Godolphin HASTINGS CBE RN (1887-1973), scion of the HUNTINGDON earls, and Hon Grisell Annabella Gem COCHRANE-BAILLIE (1898-1985) d of 2nd Baron LAMINGTON (1860-1940, scion of the DUNDONALD & PERTH earls, RUTLAND dukes, etc) and his w a dau of 1st Baron NEWLANDS. She m 1954 John Humphrey SCRIMGEOUR TD (1919-2004, s of Humphrey Scrimgeour (1889-1979) of Sternfield, Saxmundham, Suffolk and Elsie ROBERTSON (c1890-1967)) and had 2 sons and a dau.
