From the Telegraph of 24 Sep 2025: Mr M.R.F. Hill and Miss O.F. Thomson - The engagement is announced between Marcus, eldest son of Lord Anthony Hill and Annabel, Lady Anthony Hill, and Octavia, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Patrick Thomson.

Marcus Robert Francis b 1994 eldest s of Lord Anthony Ian HILL b 1961 (s of 8^th Marquess of DOWNSHIRE 1929-2003) and his former wife Annabel Priscilla Angela b 1965 d of Hon David Lawrence Robert NALL-CAIN 1930-2004 (s of 2^nd Baron BROCKET 1904-67) and Hon Katherine Elizabeth PALMER 1938-2005 d of Viscount Wolmer 1912-ka1942 (s of 3^rd Earl of Selborne 1887-1971, as well  gs of 1^st Viscount RIDLEY 1842-1904, gt gs of British PM the 3^rd Marquess of SALISBURY 1830-1903, etc) and as her 1^st h (her 2^nd was 4^th Baron Newton) Priscilla 1915-2010 d of Capt John EGERTON-WARBURTON 1883-kas1915 (6xgt gs of Sir Rowland EGERTON 1^st Bt d 1646) and Hon Lettice LEGH d of 2^nd Baron NEWTON 1857-1942 (gf of 4^th Baron, see above) and Evelyn Caroline BROMLEY-DAVENPORT 1859-1931 scion of that gentry family of Capesthorne.
