From the Times of 9 November 2018: MR C E H HOWARD AND MISS S J A KARG  The engagement is announced between the Hon Charles Howard, son of Lord and Lady Howard of Rising, and Sophie Karg, daughter of Mr and Mrs Stefan Karg of Munich, Bavaria.

Hon Charles Edward John HOWARD (b 1986) yr s of the LP Baron HOWARD OF RISING (b 1941), scion of the SUFFOLK & BERKSHIRE earls, and his 3rd w Mary Cortland (b 1958 reg Avon) d of Robert Veitch CULVERWELL (b 1927 reg Avon) of Luckington, Wiltshire by his 1956 m (reg Q2 Surrey) to Elizabeth Mary FARRER (b 1929 reg London).

The Life Peer and his two sons appear to occupy the final three places in the line of succession to the Suffolk & Berks earldom.
