The 6th Earl, otherwise known as the Aussie Earl, announced he
intended to sell the estate. I see that the estate is still managed by
his third son (eldest by his second marriage) Hon, Hektor Rous (b
1978). Although the earl has eight sons, have his two elder sons
married, or the third and fourth sons married?

Hektor Rous
The website tells some of the sad family disputes between the 3rd and
4th Earls (following changes made by the 3rd Earl to ensure his
grandson now 6th Earl inherited, rather than the 3rd Earl's
daughters), which culminated in the destruction of Henham Hall in 1953
and further legal battles.
Not mentioned are the disputes between the 6th Earl and his full
brother the late Hon William Rous about the Earl's decision to sell
off the family heirlooms in 1988. [This was mentioned in William
Rous's obituary].
The 6th Earl has two sons by his first marriage, and six by his second
marriage, so there are no shortages of heirs. The question is
a) will they marry?
b) will they have legitimate sons?
After the 6th Earl's eight sons, come the two sons of his late brother
Hon. William Rous, then the only son of Hon. George Rous (d. 1982),
third son of the 3rd Earl. Robert Charles Rous has one son of his own,
then his cousins, the six sons and five grandsons (in the male line)
of another uncle Hon. Peter Rous (d 1997)
