From the Telegraph & Times of 3 Aug 2018: WAKEHURST Lord, Christopher. On 29th July, peacefully at home, aged 96. Beloved husband of Brigid, devoted father of Tim and grandfather of Edmund and Isabel. Funeral service at St Mary’s Church, Goudhurst, at 2pm on Monday 22nd August. No flowers, but donations, if desired, to the National Autistic Society, c/o K. B. Sills Funeral Directors, Cranbrook.

He was s of 2nd Baron WAKEHURST 1895-1970 (gs of of 10th Duke of ST ALBANS 1840-98 (4xgt gs of King CHARLES II) etc etc) and Margaret 1899-1994 d of Sir Charles Clow TENNANT of The Glen 1st Bt 1823-1906 f of 1st Baron GLENCONNER 1859-1920. He m 1st 1956 Ingeborg d 1977 d of Walter Otto KRUMBHOLZ and had a son and a dau (Hon Christina Anne 1959-2022, whose son and dau are mentioned in the death notice). He m 2nd 1983 Francine Brigid d of William NOBLE. His son succeeds him:

TIMOTHY WALTER Loder 4th Baron s f 2022 has yet to establish claim b 28 March 1958. He m 1987 (div 1997) Susan Elaine HURST, no issue. His hp is his cousin:

Peter Graf Wolff Metternich zur Grachts mother was Christine Fane (1881-1962) of the LG gentry family of Fulbeck, Lincolnshire and descendant of Thomas Fane 8th Earl of Westmorland.
