From the Telegraph of 16 Oct 2024: CORBALLY STOURTON Nigel died on 5th October 2024, aged 87. Father of Edward, Nicholas and the late Patrick, grandfather of Oliver. Private cremation. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Church of The Holy Cross, Sherston, Wilts, at 12 noon on 6th December, all welcome.

He was s of Hon Edward Plantagenet Joseph CORBALLY STOURTON 1880-1966 (s of 23^rd Baron MOWBRAY, [24^th] SEAGRAVE & [20th] STOURTON 1829-93) and Beatrice Cicely c1907-2004 d of Harold Ethelbert PAGE 1876-1966 of Kirkstead, Lincs by his 1897 m reg Q4 London to Ida Flora MARTIN 1875-1963. He m 1^st 1960 (div 1975) as her 1^st h (her 2^nd h was Sir Simon Dunning 3^rd & final Bt) Frances Deirdre Morton c1940-2016 (Lady Dunning) d of Maj Patrick William Morton LANCASTER 1914-86 of Sheffield Park, Sussex and Marika Mary C EVANS-BROWN 1914-2000, and had 3 sons. He m 2^nd 1995 Lavinia Frances Elizabeth b 1941 d of Capt John (Jack) PITMAN 1907-ka1943 scion of that gentry family of Eastcourt House (gs of Sir Isaac PITMAN 1813-97 inventor of that eponymous shorthand system) and Elizabeth Cattanach DONALDSON 1908-97.

His second wife, Lavinia Pitman, was Dowager Lady Fermoy, being widow of the uncle of Diana, Princess of Wales. Nigel's death announcement was in fact placed by Maurice Fermoy, his stepson, 6th Lord Fermoy.

It seems from an internet search that his grandson Oliver is probably the son of Nicholas Corbally Stourton as he has attended school in Upper Lachlan Shire NSW Australia in which county Taralga is situated, the address of Nicholas in DPB 2019.
