From the Telegraph of 3 July 2024: GODFREY-FAUSSETT Claire, peacefully after a long illness on 30th May 2024, aged 93. Much loved sister of Richard, aunt and great aunt. Funeral at Borders Crematorium, Melrose at 12 noon on Tuesday 9th July 2024. No flowers please, but donations to RNID or Dementia UK.

She was d of Brig Bryan Trevor GODFREY-FAUSSETT CB DSO OBE MC 1896-1970 scion of that gentry family f/o Heppington and Katherine Monica 1899-1987 d of James Harper PATERSON 1858-1933 of Harviestoun House, Midlothian and Katherine TOD c1864-1944. She never married.
