TREVELYAN, JAMES WILLIAM IRVINE, retired priest, on 22 April 2012, aged 74. Much loved husband of Felicity and father of Robert and Lucy. Funeral service on Friday, 4 May at 12 noon at St. Bartholomew's Church, Barbon. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to The Lady Peel Legacy Trust or St. Bartholomew's Church, Barbon c/o Fishwicks Funeral Service, Beetham Hall, Milnthorpe, Cumbria, LA7 7BQ

 

Son of Rev Preb Charles William TREVELYAN MC (1887-1974), scion of the Bts of that name of Nettlecombe (currently dormant) and Maud Dorothe (1901-86) d of Frederick Augustus DIXEY MD FRS (1855-1935). He m 1969 Felicity Jane d of Joseph GIBSON of Burnside, Barbon, Westmorland, and had a son (Robert William Dixey b 1970, unm) and a dau as above.
