Widow of the late Major David Fetherstonhaugh, Mother of Amanda, Anthony and John, grandmother of 5. She was d of Capt Sir John Lionel ARMYTAGE 8th Bt 1901-83 and his 1st w (her 1st h, her 2nd (m 1946) & 4th (m 1960) h was Capt John Pontifex-Cooper 1912-88) Evelyn Mary Jessamine 1905-2000 d of Edward Herbert FOX d 1928 and Alice Marion ARBUTHNOT 1869-1968 (gt gd of Sir William ARBUTHNOT 1st Bt 1766-1829). She m 1st 1948 (div 1960) as his 1st of 3 wives Francis Richard 1926-89 s of Maj William Alfred ANSON 1897-1952 (gs of 2nd Earl of LICHFIELD 1825-92 & gt gs of 1st Duke of ABERCORN 1811-85 etc) and Dorothy Helme MASHITER 1895-1988, and had a son and a dau. She m 2nd 1962 (div 1971) Philip John 1927-2005 s of Capt Bernard Armitage WARBURTON-LEE VC 1895-ka1940 whom he succ as head of that gentry family of Broad Oak and Elizabeth Campbell SWINTON d 1981 (d of George Sitwell Campbell SWINTON 1859-1937 sometime Lord Lyon King-of-Arms & scion of that Scots gentry family of Kimmerghame & gd of Sir George SITWELL 2nd Bt 1797-1853), and had a further son (John Henry Bernard WARBURTON-LEE b 1963 who succ his f as family head and is m with three sons). She m 3rd 1972 as his 2nd w Maj David Henry FETHERSTONHAUGH 1924-94 scion of that gentry family of Kirkoswald.
