From the Times of 31 October 2019: SEBAG-MONTEFIORE April, actress and noveslist, died on 28 October 2019, aged 92. Doctor's daughter, sister and wife, most tenderley loved mother of four sons, grandmother of eleven, great-grandmother of eight, adored muse and confidante of many. No flowers, private funeral.

She was d of Dr Henry Norman JAFFE (1898-1969) by his 1921 m (reg Q4 Northumberland) to Miriam (1896-1993) d of Gabriel WOOLF (c1860-1922) by his 1894 (reg Q1 Yorkshire) to Ellen SUSMAN (1866-1956). She m 1952 Dr Stephen Eric (1926-2014) s of Lt-Col Eric Cecil SEBAG-MONTEFIORE (1899-1991), scion of the gentry family of that name formerly of East Cliff Lodge, and Audrey Mabel Rose (1899-1984) d of Henry Hyman HALDIN KC (1863-1931) and Mabel Julia (1874-1970) d of Sir Herbert Samuel LEON 1st Bt (1850-1926) and his 1st wife Esther Julia BEDDINGTON (1853-75), and had four sons.
