Service and interment at St Mary & All Saints Church, Cundall…, on Monday 3rd March at noon. No flowers. Donations for the preservation of St Mary & All Saints Church, Cundall.

He was s of Col Frederick Arthur STANLEY 1905-78 (gs of the 16^th Earl of DERBY 1841-1908 s of the former British PM 14th Earl of DERBY 1799-1869) and Anne Jane 1913-97 d of Col William Fellowes COLLINS 1865-1948 sometime head of that gentry family of Cundall Manor and Lady Evelyn Anne INNES-KER 1882-1958 d of 7^th Duke of ROXBURGHE 1839-92 and Lady Anne Emily SPENCER-CHURCHILL 1854-1923 d of 7^th Duke of MARLBOROUGH 1822-83 (gf of the British wartime PM Rt Hon Sir Winston Leonard SPENCER-CHURCHILL KG 1874-1965) and Lady Frances Anne Emily VANE 1822-99 d of 3^rd Marquess of LONDONDERRY 1778-1854 by his 2^nd w a dau of Sir Henry VANE-TEMPEST 2^nd Bt 1771-1813 and The Countess of ANTRIM 1778-1834. He m 1^st 1965 (div 1985) Countess Gunilla Margaretha Antonia Sophie DOUGLAS d of Count Wilhelm DOUGLAS 1907-87 of Schloss Langenstein, Baden, Germany and Ursula VON ELLRICHSHAUSEN 1913-72, and had a son and a dau as above.
