The Prime Minister's Office has announced that the King has approved the appointment of Robbie Douglas-Miller OBE as a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.  His Majesty has also been pleased to confer the dignity of a Barony of the United Kingdom upon Robbie Douglas-Miller

Robert Peter DOUGLAS MILLER (no hyphen) was awarded an OBE n the 2021 New Year Honours list (https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/3703607) for "services to Wildlife Conservation in Scotland".

Robert Peter Douglas-Miller, OBE, having been created Lord Douglas-Miller, of The Hopes in the County of East Lothian, was introduced and took the oath, supported by Lord Benyon and Baroness Fraser of Craigmaddie, and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct.
