From the Telegraph of 12 May 2023: HOGG Elizabeth, Lady (née Falkiner), died peacefully on 10th April 2023, aged 93. Much loved mother to Piers, Adam and Oliver and grandmother to James, Sarah, Aisling, Daniel and Madeleine. Funeral at Mortlake Crematorium on 25th May at 12 noon. No flowers, but donations to RNLI.

She was the d of Lt-Col Sir Terence Edmond Patrick FALKINER 8th Bt 1903-87 and Mildred Katharine 1902-89 d of Sir John Richard Geers COTTERELL 4th Bt 1866-1937 and Lady Evelyn GORDON-LENNOX 1872-1922 d of 7th Duke of RICHMOND and of LENNOX and 2nd Duke of GORDON 1845-1928. She m 1956 Sir Michael David HOGG 8th Bt 1925-2001, and had three sons (incl the eldest who is the present 9th Bt).

Lady Hogg’s death notice mentions a granddaughter AISLING not listed in DPB online. It’s tempting to think she’s the dau of the present Bt by his 2016 m to Hazel HEWETT, but I’m unable to find the child’s birth entry.

From https://www.192.com/atoz/people/hogg/sarah/, which shows Piers M Hogg, Hazel S Hewett and Aisling R Redmond Hewett all living, with Sarah A Hogg, at an address in London W13, on the electoral register for 2013-14, I would hazard a guess that Aisling is the daughter of Hazel, but that Sir Piers is her step-father, rather than her father. I further suspect that she is the Aisling Rain REDMOND-HEWETT whose birth was registered in Luton in March 1988.
