Sadly his father the 17th Earl died at the same age.The 16th Earl died at the age of 54,so lets hope that the 19th Earl has a much better life expectancy.

The 18th Earl's son, Toby, from his second marriage, but born before the marriage, is in remainder to the Scottish peerages, but not the UK earldom?

That is correct Michael, he is in reminder to the Scottish Peerages only, though with three people ahead of him in the line of succession it is not likely that the UK earldom will become separated from the Scottish earldom.

How would that work, if by chances his elder brothers died without issue.. The Scottish title would be inherited by Toby and the UK title to the next of kin ?

One becomes legitimised upon the marriage of one's parents for the purposes of succeeding to a Scottish peerage, but the same is not the case re  succeeding to English, UK peerages, see the current marquis of Queensberry, whose heir was born before his parents marriage. There are numerous other examples which don't immediately come to mind.

One for the locals at Glamis - estate workers and friends in Scotland, and one for Lord Strathmore's southern connections.

That's why nothing was found yet. If members of the royal family are present, they'ree gonna be in London.
