It is with great sadness that we announce Julian's death on 29th September 2021. Loving companion and husband of Anne. Publisher, potter, friend, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His wisdom, warmth  and humour will be greatly missed by all. May he rest in peace.

Julian's funeral and celebration of his life will be held at 12 noon on Friday October 22nd at St John's Chapel, Oxford Crematorium. Come in colours. [...]

He was son of Hon James Russell REA (1902 - 1954), 2nd son of 1st Baron REA, and Betty Marion BEVAN (died 1965).  He m 1stly 1951 (div 1964) Bridget SLATER, then 2ndly 1964 Anne Bernadette ROBSON.  He had issue by both marriages.  He was raised to the rank of a Baron's son in 1989 after his elder brother succeeded in 1981.
