From the Telegraph of 5 Aug 2026: HARRIS Jeremy Mark Littleton died aged 96 on 27th July. Much loved father of Charles, Paul and Ben, grandfather of James, Lauren, Jeremy, Joshua, Ellie, Lucy and Sebastian, great-grandfather of Johnny and Amanda. Private cremation. Memorial service to be announced.

He was s John Elvine HARRIS d 1965 by his 1927 m (div 1938) to Hon Youla Edithe LITTLETON (changed name to WELL[E]SLEY 1939) 1904-92 d of 4 Baron HATHERTON 1868-1944 and Hester Edithe 1870-1947 d of Thomas Tarrant HOSKINS of Tasmania, Australia. He m 1956 reg Q2 Staffs Pauline b c1931 d of Col Gilbert HOWSON OBE TD 1900-69 of Nether Stanlow, Longsdon, Stoke-on-Trent by his 1926 m reg Q3 Staffs to Daphne SHORTER 1902-76, and had three sons:

1. Charles Jeremy Howson b 1957

2. Richard Paul Howson b 1960

3. (John) Ben(jamin) Howson b 1966
