From the Telegraph of 8 August 2023: PURBRICK Geraldine (née Curteis) died aged 86 on 31st July peacefully at home in Shaftesbury. Beloved wife of Bill, twin sister of D'Estere and sister to John, mother to Tim and Amanda and grandmother to Rose, Lilly, Guy, May, Alice, Ella and William. Service of Thanksgiving at St Thomas' Melbury Abbas Church on 30th August 2023 at 2 p.m.

She was (twin) d of Capt Sir Gerald CURTEIS KCVO RN 1892-1972 scion of that gentry family of Windmill Hill and his 2nd w Mary Dolla 1901-92 d of Walter George DARBY of Markby, Sussex. She m 1961 reg Q3 London William (Bill) John S[tevens] 1938-2006 s of John Stevens PURBRICK 1907-89 by his 1937 m reg Q3 London to Daphne 1910-90 d of Lt-Col Andrew de Portal KINGSMILL DSO OBE MC 1881-1956 sometime head of that gentry family of Sydmonton and his 1st w (her 1st h) Gladys Frances JOHNSON 1880-1940, and had a son and a dau:
