From the Telegraph of 21 April 2025: WYNNE FINCH Rosie (née Austin), died peacefully at home, aged 85 on 10th April 2025. Private cremation followed by a Thanksgiving Service on Wednesday 7th May at 2.30 p.m. at St Lawrence Church, Stretton Grandison... There will also be a service in Tudweiliog at a later date.

She was d of Lt-Col Clive Grantham AUSTIN 1901-74 and Lady Lilian Mary Theodora LUMLEY 1900-81 (gd of 9^th Earl of SCARBROUGH 1813-84, etc). She m 1967 Charles Edward Ifan 1929-2008 s of Col John Charles WYNNE FINCH 1891-1982 (3xgt gs of 3^rd Earl of AYLESFORD 1715-77, as well 4xgt gs of 6^th Duke of SEYMOUR 1662-1748 The Proud Duke, etc) and Alice Mary Sybil 1889-1970 d of Rt Rev Hon Edward Carr GLYN 1843-1928 (s of 1^st Baron WOLVERTON 1797-1873, etc) and Lady Mary Emma CAMPBELL 1859-1947 d of 8^th Duke of ARGYLL 1823-1900 and Lady Elizabeth Georgiana SUTHERLAND-LEVESON-GOWER 1824-78 d of 2^nd Duke of SUTHERLAND 1786-1861 by his wife a dau of 6^th Earl of CARLISLE 1773-1848, as well gd of 5^th Duke of DEVONSHIRE 1748-1811, gt gd of 1^st Earl SPENCER 1734-83 (gt gs of 1^st Duke of MARLBOROUGH 1650-1722), etc etc, and had a son and two daus.
