From the Times of 7 Feb 2024: CAMPION Simon Gerald died peacefully at Burleigh House, Baldock (formerly of Royston) on 19th January 2024. Much-loved uncle of Helen, Russel, Andrew, their families, his many cousins and friends. Requiem Mass to be celebrated on Tuesday 13th February at 12.15pm at Our Lady and The English Martyrs, Cambridge. Family flowers only. He was yr son of Wilfrid Edward CAMPION 1899-1972 scion of the that gentry family f/o Danny and Nizza Lauren 1907- d of William Francis SARELL 1872-1939 scion of that gentry family of Braeside and Grace Ermengarde 1885-1958 d of James Guy THOMSON 1833-90 and Mary Elizabeth BUSSELL 1856-1925.
