I think it may have been a daughter:: Robin Lindsay Bullard, Countess of Onslow.

I hate to say this, but there's an error. Ann Lindsay Aymer, born in Paris in 1924, was the daughter of Alexander Lindsay Aymer (born in Kincardineshire in 1890) and May Rose Nathan (1901), who were married in Paris on Aug. 22, 1923.
(Source: announcement of their wedding plans, The New York Times, Aug. 10, 1923). May Rose Nathan was the daughter of Robert Florance Nathan and Frances Seligman Nathan of New York City and Long Branch, New Jersey,
the granddaughter of James Seligman, a wealthy New York financier, and the niece of Mrs. Benjamin Guggenheim of the very rich New York Guggenheims (peerage tie: Earls of Castle Stewart). NY Times engagement and wedding
announcements for Ann Lindsay Aymer Bullard to the future Lord Aberconway list her as the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aymer of Peaton Cove, Dumbartonshire, and New York. (NYT, Oct. 6, 1949, Oct.. 16, 1949). Alexander Aymer
and Myrtle Melita Hely-Hutchinson (1924-89) were married in July 1951 (thepeerage.com).

Lady Aberconway's great grandfather, John Lindsay of Kinneff claimed descent from Lindsay of Glenesk and Edzell. As we share that great grandfather I have always been given to understand it was an illegitimate branch though close in terms of the relationship
