From the Telegraph of 24 July 2015: ROGERS-COLTMAN CHARLES HUGH died peacefully at The Home on Monday 20th July, aged 85 after a short illness bravely borne. Adored husband of Tessa and loving father of Veronica, Jane, Philip and Emma. Much loved GonGon/Grandpa of Charlie, Laurie, Rosie, Johnny, Lucy, James, Georgia, Iona, Hugh and Guy. Funeral and Thanksgiving Service to be held at St Michael and All Angels Church, Wentnor, Shropshire SY9 5EE on Friday 31st July at 2.30pm. Family flowers only. Donations in Charles’s memory to Wentnor PCC. All enquires to Funeral Directors, W. John Morris & Son, Bishop’s Castle.
He was s of Lt-Cmdr Julian Coltman ROGERS-COLTMAN OBE RNVR (1898-1944), scion of the gentry family COLTMAN-ROGERS of Stanage Park, and Mary Malet CHAPMAN (1908-2000) scion of that gentry formerly of Donhead House. He m 1955 Olive Teresa Margaret d of Lt-Col Walter Harold BAMFIELD of North Mytton House, Montford Bridge, Shropshire and had a son and three daus:
