From the Telegraph of 23 Oct 2020: STAMFORD Christopher passed away peacefully on 15th October 2023. Much loved husband, father and grandfather. Memorial Service to be held at 11.30 a.m. on Friday 24th November 2023 at St Peter & St Paul Church, Nutfield.

He was s of Norman Charles STAMFORD 1907-82 by his 7 June 1935 m to Margaret Catherine PATERSON 1907-. He m 1966 Heather b 1943 d of Gerald Herbert INCLEDON 1905-90 and Hazel 1920-2005 d of Hon William Arthur de la Poer HORSLEY-BERESFORD 1878-1949 (s of 3^rd Baron DECIES 1811-93) and Laura 1899-1958 d of Capt St John Halford COVENTRY 1866-1920 (2xgt gs of 6^th Earl of COVENTRY 1722-1809) and Lilian Emmeline 1874- 1948 d of George RUSSELL 1830-1911 (2xgt gs of 4^th Duke of BEDFORD 1710-71 etc) and Lady Charlotte Isabella INNES-KER 1841-81 (d of 6^th Duke of ROXBURGHE 1816-79), and had a son and two daus.
