Last week I came across this interview with the Countess of Burlington http://www.telegraph.co.uk/women/life/meet-lady-burlington-future-duchess-walking-footsteps-mitford/.

In the interview it is mentioned that she and her husband William, Earl of Burlington, heir to the Dukedom of Devonshire now have three children. Further down it is revealed that the third child is a girl named Elinor.

As there are only posts about her older siblings Lady Maude and Lord James, I thought this might be news worth mentioning.

Thank you.  Not all births get announced in the BMD columns.

And a bit on Lismore Castle

I wonder how the Daily Mail missed this birth, since they spotted the births of Viscount Weymouth's son and Lord Mornington (now Lord Douro)'s younger son. Then again, post Richard Kay, their interests seem to have swung away from the traditional aristocracy. Plus, the child is a girl, which may have made a difference. Or not?
