Mr H.J.A. Coulson and Miss J.J. Palmer-Tomkinson
The engagement is announced between Hugh, son of Mr and Mrs Archie
Coulson, of Blair Drummond, Stirling, and Jemima, elder daughter of Mr
and Mrs Jeremy Palmer-Tomkinson, of Great Shoddesden, Hampshire.

Jemima Jane (b 1983) is the dau of Jeremy James PALMER-TOMKINSON (b
1943), scion of the gentry family TOMKINSON of Willington Hall and of
the PALMER Bts, and Clare Jemima (b 1948) dau of Lt-Cdr Arthur LEVESON
RNVR of Ropley, Hampshire (son of Admiral Sir Arthur Cavenagh Leveson
GCB (1868-1929) and Jemima Adeline Beatrice (b , widow of the 7th Earl
of Darnley) dau of Francis James Lindesay Price BLACKWOOD of Norton
Court (1849-92, scion of the Barons DUFFERIN AND CLANEBOYE) and
Adeline Elizabeth dau of M Ramsden GLOVER) and Margaret Ruth (b 1920)
dau of G/Capt Christopher Edward MAUDE RAF (1890-1964), scion of that
gentry family formerly of Burley. [Ruth Maude was given in marriage by
Adml Lord Louis Mountbatten, later Earl Mountbatten of Burma.]

Hugh John Archie (b c1980 reg Q1 Richmond) is the son of (Francis)
Archie COULSON and Margaret A KEELAN.
